Beidermeier Columbine is a compact native wildflower perennial with three lobed medium green biternate foliage.  This is a strain with four pastel color options- red. pink, blue, and white and has a heavy bloom of the small drooping flowers in spring attracting hummingbirds.  Removing stems after flowering may encourage another bloom.  Flowers best in filtered sun and rich well-drained soils.
