Monrovia® Apple Blossom Camellia is a fast-growing evergreen shrub with an rounded habit and glossy evergreen leaves that stay deep green year-round. Its large semi-double white flowers are white with pink edging and a yellow stamen resemble apple blossoms and bloom in fall into winter which attracts butterflies. Best blooms occur in partial sun and acidic, well-drained soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium maintenance. Too much water retention can increase susceptibility to fungal diseases, including root rot, black mold, blight, canker, anthracnose, and leaf spots. If desired, remove all but one bud from each cluster to increase the size of the flower. Prune immediately after flowering.
