Winter's Joy Camellia is a mid-sized evergreen shrub with an upright columnar habit and glossy leaves that stay deep green year-round.  The large semi-double cherry pink flowers with crinkled petal edges and yellow stamen bloom earlier than most Camellia, from mid-fall into winter attracting butterflies.  Spent flowers drop its petals, keeping the plant looking fresh.  Best blooms occur in partial sun and acidic, well-drained soil.
