  • Description

Midsweet Orange is a compact fruit-producing evergreen shrub that has an attractive spring bloom and produces a good yield of mid-sized fruits mid-season. The fruits themselves are tender and highly juicy with a rich balanced sweet-tart flavor. Grows best in full sun and deep, evenly moist, sandy to loamy well-drained acidic soils.  Cannot tolerate frost.  Midsweet is resistant to dropping ripe fruit and self-pollinating.
