Monrovia® Berry à la Mode Dianthus is a compact mat-forming herbaceous perennial with tidy silver blue-green foliage and hairy stems.  Its fragrant, crisp white flowers with magenta centers bloom in late spring through summer.  Blooms best with full sun in moist and well-drained, slightly alkaline soil.  The American Pie series has improved cold and drought tolerance.
