Screen Play Holly is a new hybrid of the evergreen shrub with a dense columnar habit. The large spineless but finely serrated foliage emerges bright green tinged with bronze before maturing to a glossy dark green.  If pollinated a crop of deep red berries will ripen in fall and persist in winter.  Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.  Drought tolerant once established.
