Schillings Yaupon Holly is a very dense slow-growing dwarf native evergreen shrub with fine dark green leaves.  Schillings is a heavily flowered male cultivar that makes it a popular pollinator.  Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.
