Hot Lips Salvia is a native evergreen perennial with an upright clumping habit and aromatic foliage.  Spikes with distinct tiny bicolor two-lipped flowers are white and red in cooler weather and flushes fully red in the summer heat. The blooms continue from spring until frost attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.  Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.
